    Hi and welcome! I'm jenny (obvi) and i'm so happy you're here. i am a portrait and wedding photographer in columbus, ohio. my absolute favorite thing to photograph is love. couples in love, new mommies and daddies in love with their newest bundle of joy, brides and grooms in love about to walk down the aisle. anything involving love. who doesnt love love, right?

    here on the blog you'll find some of my favorite images from recent sessions and weddings of my clients, family and friends. you'll also probably find some personal posts from our large family get togethers or cute pictures of my dogs. because i love my dogs. a lot.

This teeny sweet little peanut decided to arrive about 3 weeks early. I was so excited to hear from mom when i got the email, she’s here, she’s small but she’s mighty. I ADORE tiny babies. Well, i adore all babies really. Little Olivia was just 5lbs 7oz when she was born and probably only a little over 5 lbs by the time i got my hands on her. She was SO sleepy and cooperative for me, i got to try out some of my new stuff and i’m in LOVE!

look how tiny she is!every little girl needs a photo in pink!check out that little baby smile! LOVE it when i can catch those!and of course we had to get big brother Wrigley with his new sister. big protective new brother, so sweet. anyone who knows me knows i have a soft spot for dogs. so i loved being able to get one of the two of them.

Jenn and Andy, i ADORE  you guys and your sweet little girl. She’s absolutely beautiful and i had a wonderful time snuggling photographing her all day. Thank you for entrusting me to capture your teeny little princess!

This child.. she is super animated and smart and talkative and inquisitive and adorable! You never really know whats going to happen with a ‘three-nager”..they really do run the show.. Family photo sessions with littles around this age are totally dependent on whatever they wanna do.. and adelyn, well, she was on a princess hunt.. and this little bridge looks like it’s straight out of a Disney fairy tale, doesnt it?

Everywhere we went, she was hoping to find a princess. so needless to say, much of our conversations were about the princesses. her favorite is Rapunzel (bet you couldnt tell by looking at that hair) what kid doesnt like to swing? she was very adamant that she wasnt afraid to go super high, way up to the sky…this is one of my favorite family photos ever.. the pure joy, little kid laughter, melts me.. Adelyn wanted to be like her mama.. whenever i had kristen do something, adelyn was mimicking her.. another one of my favorites.. these two have so much fun together.. so so sweet.mama and i go way back.. we’ve actually known each other over a decade (DECADE!) now.. we were only 15 when we met 😉 (i kid, i kid)  But how stunning is she?? so of course, Adelyn saw mommy posing in front of the ‘castle’.. and she had to, too.. look at that sweet little grin! this kid. so cute. the whole session i kept repeating how adorable she was.. her smiles just totally melted me.

Kristen, thank you for trusting me to capture precious images of you and your ADORABLE little mini. i had tons of fun with you guys, even if it was 120 degrees with 89% humidity. ha. lets get coffee soon, kay? kay. xxJBZ

Ever since i was young, i’ve been obsessed with twins (any multiples actually). I’m absolutely amazed by them. And you all know i’m clearly obsessed with babies. So twin newborns was a dream come true. And i just absolutely adore mom and dad. its been such a joy working with them.  I’ve been keeping tabs on lauren thru her whole pregnancy via facebook and instagram and was so excited when i saw they were heading to the hospital to meet their little miracles. The twins are absolutely adorable and very clear which one is a girl and which a boy. It definitely wasnt easy to get them both asleep at the same time so i owe a big thanks to my bff Faye for helping me out! So without anymore of my rambling, here’s Lily and Everett!

i just love you two and how you love each other. and now how you love your babies. i cant wait to watch them grow!once again, its so fun to watch new moms and dads in awe of their precious babies. double that awe when its twins!lauren, you were beautiful on your wedding day, you glowed when we did your maternity photos, and now, as a mom, you are absolutely gorgeous. Lily’s gonna look just like you! and as always, who can resist all those baby toes?? 

jason and lauren, congrats again. I had a wonderful day with you and your twins. they are absolutely beautiful, i couldve stayed and snuggled with them all day. hope you are getting some rest and adjusting well to parenthood! xxxx

More newborn photography!! I was SO excited to meet baby Cole. I’ve known his mommy since junior high and was so excited when i got news from her that they were expecting, and that they found out they were expecting on my wedding day! Little cole was actually a week early and we ended up photographing him on his actual due date. he is such a little peanut. i couldve cuddled with him all day. it was so fun watching new mom and dad with him. Kee said more than once, i still cant believe he’s mine. It really is crazy to see childhood friends turn into mommies and daddies. such a surreal experience. and as much as i’m around these itty bitties and their new parents, i’m still in awe every time. They truly are little miracles.

If you’ve followed by blog at all, you should know that newborn photography is a true love of mine. I just swoon over little teeny fingers and toes. I cant help but cuddle and nuzzle their perfect little heads and breathe in their sweet baby scent. I’m a sucker for babies. The tiny humans are perfect little creatures and i’m amazed by them. each and every time. baby charles arrived two weeks early. i got an email while i was out of town saying that he had arrived. i was so excited, as i always am when i get those emails, calls, texts from new mamas. I couldn’t wait to meet baby charles and he definitely didnt disappoint.

oh i’m such a sucker for daddies snuggling their new babies.. how precious is this??

I new this session would be a little tricky because Lindsey had told me she really wanted a photo of her boys together… Edward is just 2 years old, and those of you who have had a 2 year old, know they dont always like to cooperate on anyone else’s terms. At first he wanted nothing to do with me, but he warmed up eventually.

big brother edward was so sweet when baby charles would start to fuss or cry. he’d reach out his hand and say, dont cry, charlie, edward is here. melt. i am so in love with this image. snuggling with their new babe. so sweet.and this one.. lindsey, you are gorgeous!! you look absolutely fab 5 days after giving birth. amazing.
