erica+eric | columbus engagement photography

These two.. Its hard to find the words to describe how awesome they are and how much they love each other. I met erica a few years ago when i was working for a studio in beavercreek and photographed her senior photos. She was always one of my favorites and we kept in touch over the years. I was UBER excited when they contacted me about engagement and wedding photography! I always knew erica would be a beautiful bride and i cannot wait to see that come january. and eric… well, he lovvvvvvvves her. so much. he does what he can to make her smile, he compliments her constantly and they just can’t help smiling at each other. I’m so excited for their wedding. We split their engagement photography up into two sessions. We wanted to take advantage of the beautiful fall colors Ohio has to offer but needed to do a session a little sooner for their save the dates.. so, two sessions it was. i’m equally excited about images from both sessions. Below is just a sampling of my faves from the two sessions!

how we met (as told by erica): 

I’m very grateful every day that Eric and I met because it was complete fate! We both work at Wright-Patterson AFB and often use the gym located on the base to workout.

Inside the gym, they also have a smoothie stand where I would often visit simply to grab lunch. On the most perfect Tuesday, I decided to go to the smoothie shop with a friend and grab lunch.

Little did I know, I would meet the love of my life! Eric was in line ahead of my friend and I ordering his smoothie. My friend knew Eric and immediately introduced us. We left the gym and I knew I had to talk with Eric again.

I began instant messaging him at work, and two days later we went on our first date … and the rest is history! Meeting Eric was one of the best days of my life!
