If you’ve followed by blog at all, you should know that newborn photography is a true love of mine. I just swoon over little teeny fingers and toes. I cant help but cuddle and nuzzle their perfect little heads and breathe in their sweet baby scent. I’m a sucker for babies. The tiny humans are perfect little creatures and i’m amazed by them. each and every time. baby charles arrived two weeks early. i got an email while i was out of town saying that he had arrived. i was so excited, as i always am when i get those emails, calls, texts from new mamas. I couldn’t wait to meet baby charles and he definitely didnt disappoint.

I new this session would be a little tricky because Lindsey had told me she really wanted a photo of her boys together… Edward is just 2 years old, and those of you who have had a 2 year old, know they dont always like to cooperate on anyone else’s terms. At first he wanted nothing to do with me, but he warmed up eventually.

big brother edward was so sweet when baby charles would start to fuss or cry. he’d reach out his hand and say, dont cry, charlie, edward is here. melt. i am so in love with this image. snuggling with their new babe. so sweet.and this one.. lindsey, you are gorgeous!! you look absolutely fab 5 days after giving birth. amazing.
